A NEW STAKES WINNER FOR SIR PERCY
LADY TIANA by Lanwades sire SIR PERCY made the step up to Listed level look easy as she barely hit top gear in winning the Listed Gillies Fillies' Stakes at Doncaster on the final day of the flat season. Winning her fourth race of her career, she justified trainer Lucy Wadham's decision to up her to black-type level as she triumphed by a length in the hands of Graham Lee. The official margin hardly does LADY TIANA justice as she was just kept to her work to hold off her challengers. LADY TIANA is the 13th individual Stakes performer for her sire SIR PERCY this year and was bred by Victoria and Anthony Pakenham, in whose colours SIR PERCY won the 2006 Epsom Derby. Mrs Pakenham, who is still involved with the filly said “she stays in training, she's so tough and has this amazing acceleration. We're hoping we'll have a bit of fun with her next year”.

FIRST GROUP ONE SUCCESS FOR ARCHIPENKO
Lanwades-bred MADAME CHIANG became Lanwades resident sire ARCHIPENKO’s first Group 1 winner with his first crop, now three-year-olds in 2014. She raced at the back of the field for most of the race and once she turned for home she improved into midfield and then weaved her way through to win by two lengths. After her win in May in the Gr.3 Musidora Stakes she went on to finish tenth in the Oaks and then ran a very good race in the Gr.1 Prix Vermeille. Her trainer, David Simcock, reported “When the ground became very soft we knew she would handle it and, following a very good run in last month’s Gr.1 Prix Vermeille – when she ran extremely well against a very strong field – we came here hopeful. You can never be confident, be we were hopeful”. He also confirmed that MADAME CHIANG will remain in training next year as a four-year-old. Homebred by Miss Rausing, MADAME CHIANG is a daughter of two-time winner ROBE CHINOISE who has a yearling full sister to her and a colt foal by AUSSIE RULES.

SEA THE MOON TO STAND AT LANWADES STUD
SEA THE MOON, sensational 11 length winner of the Group 1 Deutsches Derby in July, is to stand at Lanwades Stud near Newmarket in a deal brokered by Blandford Bloodstock.
Long time Arc favourite until his retirement a fortnight ago, the brilliant son of champion SEA THE STARS and his sire's top rated colt by Timeform at 127, will stand at a fee of £15,000 1st October SLF. Breeder Gestut Goerlsdorf has retained an interest in SEA THE MOON who is going to be partially syndicated.
SEA THE MOON hails from a superb family. His dam SANWA is a sister to three Classic winners including top German sire SAMUM. He was a facile winner at two and easily won his two other starts at Group 2 and Group 3 level before his barnstorming performance in the Group 1 German Derby. Only a career finishing knee injury in the Group 1 Grosser Preis Von Baden put an end to his unbeaten record.
Lanwades owner Kirsten Rausing said yesterday: "It is with immense pleasure that we can announce that SEA THE MOON is coming to Lanwades Stud for the 2015 covering season. He made such a huge impression on everybody when winning the German Derby and we feel that he will be a very popular sire indeed."
"He is a beautiful colt and so closely resembles the magnificent SEA THE STARS who has made such an extraordinary impact at stud this year. As he is out of a MONSUN full sister to SAMUM, he represents a fantastic outcross option for many European breeders."
Blandford Bloodstock's Richard Brown said: "This is a very exciting moment indeed for Miss Rausing and everyone at Lanwades Stud. Along with the many other interested farms, we have been following this beautifully bred and exceptionally talented horse for some time."
"So it is fantastic that the Bischoff-Lafrentz family have decided to do a deal with Lanwades. Miss Rausing will be supporting SEA THE MOON with some of her best mares which will certainly be a big boost for his stud career."
Gestut Goerlsdorf's Heike Bischoff-Lafrentz said: "We have spent the last 2 weeks considering the best options for SEA THE MOON and have been approached by many leading European stud farms. Miss Rausing and her team at Lanwades Stud have been absolutely fantastic to deal with and it's really been a very simple decision in the end."
"Lanwades is a terrific stud farm and the combination of Miss Rausing's and Gestut Goerlsdorf's mares, shareholders mares and broodmares from the market place will ensure that SEA THE MOON has the best possible start at stud which, as the colt's breeders, was always our priority."

GREAT LANWADES DOUBLE AT LONGCHAMP
The 1st September 2014 proved a memorable day for Lanwades when both runners at Longchamp from the "Al" family won their respective races. ALL AT SEA won her first black-type race when taking the Listed Prix de Liancourt, a race for three-year-old fillies over a mile and two furlongs. The Lanwades homebred tracked the leaders and picked up well to win fairly easily by three quarters of a length. ALL AT SEA won her maiden on debut at Longchamp in May and her only other run to date came in the Listed Prix Melisande at Compiegne where she finished fourth on soft ground. She is third generation Lanwades bred and is out of three time Group 1 winner ALBANOVA who has already produced the multiple Listed-placed ALBAMARA. ALBANOVA is a full sister to the dual Gr.1 Champion Stakes winner ALBORADA and their dam is the foundation mare ALRUCCABA who also features in the pedigree of the second winner ALEA IACTA this time as the fourth dam. A NEW STAKES WINNER FOR SIR PERCY
LADY PIMPERNEL, a four-year-old daughter of resident stallion SIR PERCY put up an outstanding performance to win the Listed Upavon Fillies’ Stakes at Salisbury yesterday. It was a first Stakes success for the filly following on from her win in handicap company at Newmarket on 2nd August worth nearly £10,000 to the winner. Although slowly away she was soon pushed along to get to the front which is where she stayed despite a few trying to get past her to win by two and a quarter lengths. She has been most consistent and has now won four races and been placed on six occasions from fourteen starts from two to four years. This was a second Stakes winner in 2014 for her sire SIR PERCY after INDIGO LADY winning at The Curragh and he is the sire of a further four Stakes performers this year. SIR PERCY is having a good year with his two-year-olds and has so far had seven individual winners.

17TH INDIVIDUAL GROUP 1 WINNER FOR SELKIRK
THISTLE BIRD, a daughter of the late SELKIRK, became her sire’s 17th individual Group 1 winner when winning the Pretty Polly Stakes at The Curragh yesterday for Lady Rothschild. The now six-year-old put in a brave performance to win the big race of the day at The Curragh by nearly three lengths for her trainer Roger Charlton who had to persuade her owner to delay putting her in foal and to continue racing this year. This has clearly paid off and whether she races again or not she will make a great addition to the owner’s broodmare band. The Rothschilds’ homebred THISTLE BIRD has now won 8 races and been placed 6 times from 20 starts and has won over £350,000 in prize money. THISTLE BIRD becomes the 11th filly by SELKIRK to win at the highest level - others include WINCE, RED BLOOM, ANNOUNCE and NAHRAIN.

TOP TEN
Ten recent arrivals complete the 2014 foaling season at Lanwades and they are a classy bunch comprising two each by Lanwades resident sires ARCHIPENKO, AUSSIE RULES and SIR PERCY and four - all fillies - by outside sires in BAHAMIAN BOUNTY, GALILEO, HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR and PIVOTAL.
The ARCHIPENKO pair are both fillies. 2010 three-year-old winner MME DE STAEL (SELKIRK -SCANDALETTE), who is half sister to Gr.1 winner LADY JANE DIGBY, has a third foal chesnut daughter who is three-parts sister to 2014 two-time winner PITON, a Mark Johnston-trained son of ARCHIPENKO and SCANDALETTE. HEAT OF THE NIGHT also has a chesnut daughter, a half-sister to two winners, their stakes winning dam's first two foals. This filly is line bred to SPECIAL, granddam of ARCHIPENKO, fifth dam of HEAT OF THE NIGHT.
Pictured right is HEAT OF THE NIGHT with her 2014 ARCHIPENKO filly at around a month old.
AUSSIE RULES' pair are colts out of THUNDER QUEEN and ROSA DE MI CORAZON. THUNDER QUEEN is already dam of a dual two-year-old winner in 2014 and she, BELLE RIVE, successful in a maiden in Firenze and a conditions race in Rome, her only two starts to date and she will be seen out next in the Listed Mantovani Stakes. She is the fourth winner for her dam and also happens to be by AUSSIE RULES. ROSA DE MI CORAZON is the dam of 2014 winner NOVGOROD and she is half-sister to a pair who have done plenty of winning this year - KINDLELIGHT STORM, who notched up a four-timer in his four most recent runs, and TAROOQ, winner of the Listed Cleves Stakes at Lingfield in February. Both mares stay at Lanwades again for their 2014 cover – THUNDER QUEEN by SIR PERCY, ROSA DE MI CORAZON by NORTH LIGHT.
Also visiting NORTH LIGHT are the dams of both SIR PERCY arrivals, both colts. RYELLA, a winning COZZENE mare out of a half-sister to Queen Anne and Middle Park winner AD VALOREM, has a bay half-brother to Russian Stakes winner RALLY AGAIN and 2013 two-year-old winner ORANGE GROVE who is now in the USA (owned by Team Valor) awaiting his racing comeback later this year. IN THE PINK a three-time winning granddaughter of 1000 Guineas winner NOCTURNAL SPREE, has a grey colt who is also half-brother to two winners.
Mr John Pearce's DARSHAAN mare MISS CAP FERRAT has a filly, seventh foal, this time by GALILEO. The bay is half-sister to three winners, including the stakes winners ST JEAN CAP FERRAT and MISS CAP ESTEL. The latter retired this year to Mr Pearce's select Lanwades-based broodmare band, visiting OASIS DREAM.
Unraced HALF MOON HOTEL, bred at Lanwades by WITH APPROVAL out of SLEW THE MOON, has a BAHAMIAN BOUNTY filly second foal. A daughter of an Argentinean Group 1 winner from the family of SHAREEF DANCER and MIZZEN MAST, HALF MOON HOTEL has a yearling colt by AUSSIE RULES and will this year visit SIR PERCY.
Also remaining at Lanwades to be covered are the dams of the final two filly foal arrivals, AKDARENA and GRAIN ONLY. AKDARENA, winner of the Gr.3 Blue Wind Stakes in 2010, has a chesnut PIVOTAL filly third foal. Her first, MISHGHAR (by GALILEO) brought €250,000 as a yearling last year and is in training with Richard Hannon; her second is a SEA THE STARS now yearling filly. She visits LEROIDESANIMAUX.
GRAIN ONLY has had a bay daughter by HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR. Her daughter is half-sister to three winners, including Stakes winner CARAVAN ROLLS ON and 2014 Chester winner GABRIAL'S STAR. She revisits SIR PERCY, the sire of her 2014 two-year-old daughter with Brian Ellison, MULTI GRAIN.
That is the end for 2014!

A NEW STAKES WINNER FOR SIR PERCY
Four-year-old filly INDIGO LADY by Derby winner SIR PERCY sprang a huge surprise in Ireland yesterday to win the Listed Silver Stakes at the Curragh to become a new Stakes winner for her sire. She was sent off at odds of 66-1, but she duly made all to pass the finishing line in front to win by just a neck. INDIGO LADY had previously won her maiden at Yarmouth at two and finished third in the Gr.3 Prix d’Aumale also at two and it was nice to get this Listed win as she is currently in foal to CAMELOT and will now go off to stud and as her trainer, Willie McCreery, reported “that is job done now, winning a Listed race”.

This was a second win for LADY PENKO (FR) out of HESPERA (by DANEHILL). LADY PENKO (ITY) out of LADY RANGALI (by DANEHILL DANCER) won two races and was Stakes-placed three times in Italy at two. A NEW LISTED WINNER FOR AUSSIE RULES
AUSSI CELEBRE (pictured right), a son of Lanwades resident sire AUSSIE RULES, won his first Listed race when taking the Prix Right Royal at Saint-Cloud today in convincing style. Held up at the back he came with a great run to win by a length beating two previous Group 1 winners in the process. AUSSI CELEBRE, a now five year old, had been placed twice at Listed level previously and it will be interesting to see where he is placed next. On the same day AUSSIE RULES had another winner in CHAMPAGNE RULES who won a very hot maiden at Pontefract at 100-1 for his trainer Sharon Watt. The race named in memory of Derby winner HIGH RISE and was last year won by LIBERTERIAN, who went on to win the Dante and finish second in the Derby. CHAMPAGNE RULES had only prevously had one run as a two-year-old and beat a field of runners with Derby and Dante entries.

PLENTY MORE FOALS TO REPORT
A further eight arrivals to report. Half of them are by Lanwades sires - two fillies by ARCHIPENKO and a colt and a filly by SIR PERCY.
The ARCHIPENKO fillies are both second foals. CLAIOMH SOLAIS, a multiple Group-placed GALILEO full sister to Group winners CUIS GHAIRE and SCINTILLULA, has a half-sister to her ACCLAMATION colt which brought 57,000 guineas at Tattersalls December Foal Sale last year; MONDA, a multiple winning daughter of stakes winner BRIVIESCA (herself a granddaughter of Oaks Trial winner and Oaks fourth KILINISKI) has a half-sister to last year's SIR PERCY filly. Both mares stay at Lanwades – CLAIOMH SOLAIS to visit LEROIDESANIMAUX, MONDA to be covered by AUSSIE RULES. (Pictured left is CLAIOMH SOLAIS and her 2014 foal by ARCHIPENKO). MONDA's relative NINOTCHKA (the former's 4th dam KILAVEA is also NINOTCHKA's grandam) has a SIR PERCY half-sister to four winners (all fillies), including the Group-placed pair NADESZHDA and NATALIYA. She now visits CHAMPS ELYSEES. ZOOMING's SIR PERCY colt is half-brother to two winners; his dam, half-sister to Group winning sprinters ZIPPING, ZELDING and NIPPING, will now visit new Lanwades horse NORTH LIGHT.
SUMMER NIGHT, one of the stars of the Lanwades broodmare band, has an INVINCIBLE SPIRIT colt, half-brother to no less than nine winners, including the stakes winning fillies SONGERIE, SOUVENANCE, SOFT MORNING and SOURIRE and the 2014 winner SAGESSE. SUMMER NIGHT has an ARCHIPENKO two-year-old daughter, STELLAIRE, in training with Andre Fabre and an ACCLAMATION yearling daughter named SOUND OF THE SEA and will now visit first-season horse INTELLO.
MEMORY LANE, a dual winning WITH APPROVAL half-sister to Timeform 117-rated ISLAND LIGHT has a MAWATHEEQ second foal half-brother to last year's ARCHIPENKO. She will return to PIVOTAL, sire of her 2014 two-year-old daughter MS GRANDE CORNICHE. British Bloodstock Agency-owned SALINIA has a HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR colt, her third colt in as many foals which include now two-year-old colt named ROKBAAN in training with Roger Varian. SALINIA, the granddaughter of triple Oaks winner FAIR SALINIA (and half-sister to Prix du Jockey Club scorer RELIABLE MAN) travels now to Ireland to DECLARATION OF WAR.

BACK TO BACK WINS FOR PITON
PITON, a Lanwades-bred son of ARCHIPENKO, followed up his 12 length victory at Wolverhampton on 20th March with another win this time at Kempton. He took the lead with over two furlongs to run and never looked in danger of being caught. This win comes seven days after his first for his owner TT Bloodstocks and trainer Mark Johnston. An impressive win again and certainly upholds a fantastic strike rate for second season sire, ARCHIPENKO.

ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER WINNER FOR ARCHIPENKO
KINGSTON MINES (GB), a Lanwades-bred son of ARCHIPENKO, a three-year-old racing against his elders in South Africa, won very well from a large field at Turffontein on 22nd March. Trained by Mike de Kock, he was a yearling purchase from Staffordstown at Goffs in 2012 and he won impressively on only his second outing, a maiden over 1800m. ARCHIPENKO's strike rate with his first crop of now three-year-olds is an impressive 6 winners and 2 placed horses from 10 runners.

A NEW LANWADES-BRED ARCHIPENKO WINNER
PITON, a Lanwades-bred son of ARCHIPENKO, won the 32red Immortal Romance Slot Handicap at Wolverhampton over 12f by 12 lengths easing down today. Having his first run of the year PITON travelled strongly throughout to become the 10th individual winner for his Lanwades-bred dam SCANDALETTE. That makes it 11 individual winners from ARCHIPENKO's first crop and an impressive strike rate for 2014 so far of 5 winners from 10 runners.

MORE ARRIVALS
Three colts by ARCHIPENKO are amongst five further foal arrivals.
The first by ARCHIPENKO is a bay half-brother to two winners: Gr.3 Sirenia Stakes winner GLASS OFFICE (by VERGLAS) and 2014 maiden winner CAPTAIN MORLEY (by HERNANDO), both of whom are trained by David Simcock. OVAL OFFICE herself unbeaten in two starts, a daughter of Queen Mary Stakes winner PUSHY, stays at Lanwades to visit LEROIDESANIMAUX.
HERE TO ETERNITY has a chesnut ARCHIPENKO full-brother to last year's first foal and she is due to visit BAHAMIAN BOUNTY this year. ALMIRANTA (by GALILEO, out of World Champion ALBORADA’s Stakes-winning daughter ALVARITA) has a bay colt by ARCHIPENKO, her first colt after fillies by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT (two-year-old ALEA IACTA, in training with Andre Fabre) and SIR PERCY and stays at home to visit LEROIDESANIMAUX. ALMIRANTA and foal are pictured left.
ALABELLE, a winning GALILEO three-quarter sister to Derby runner-up DRAGON DANCER (by SADLER'S WELLS), who had an INVINCIBLE SPIRIT filly first foal last year, has produced a three-quarter brother second foal by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT’S Prix du Jockey Club-winning son LAWMAN. She is another who will remain at Lanwades to visit LEROIDESANIMAUX.

She now visits IFFRAAJ.

THE SECOND LADY PENKO IS NOW A WINNER
Lanwades sire ARCHIPENKO had another winner, this time in France, when LADY PENKO won her maiden at Toulouse over 2100m yesterday. Very confusingly ARCHIPENKO has two identically named fillies in his first crop – this one LADY PENKO (FR) and also LADY PENKO (ITY), both are now three-year-olds. LADY PENKO (FR) out of HESPERA (by DANEHILL) was having her second run of her career and won this by a very convincing six lengths. LADY PENKO (ITY) out of LADY RANGALI (by DANEHILL DANCER) won two races and was Stakes-placed three times in Italy at two. ARCHIPENKO has made a very encouraging start to his stud career - he has now sired ten individual winners from his first crop and from five that have run as three-year-olds three have won.

TAROOQ TAKES THE PRIZE AT LINGFIELD
Lanwades-bred TAROOQ was involved in a thrilling finish of the Listed Cleves Stakes run over six furlongs at Lingfield on Saturday, just getting up to win and in doing so he becomes a fast-track qualifier for the All Weather Championships finals day on Good Friday (18th April). Bred by Lanwades Stud, he was born in America and sold as a foal at the Keeneland November Sales in 2006 and the following year was sold as a yearling at the Tattersalls October Sales. He did not actually appear on the racecourse until as a four-year-old and now at the age of eight he has won a total of 11 races and £124,516 in prize money. This was a first win at Stakes level for TAROOQ who is by WAR CHANT out of German 1,000 Guineas winner ROSE OF ZOLLERN and he is a half brother to dual Listed-placed FLOR Y NATA and to now four-year-old KINDLELIGHT STORM who has won three races, two of them this year.

MORE FOALS TO REPORT
Bay colts for stakes winning mother and daughter KISWAHILI and KINETICA on either side of the Atlantic are amongst several high-profile arrivals over the past week. KISWAHILI’s Kentucky-born son by Breeders' Cup Classic winner and 2014 first crop runners sire BLAME is her fifth colt foal, Listed Stakes Winner KINETICA being her only daughter. Her first three produce are all winners, her fourth, a 62,000 guineas son of ARCHIPENKO, died without being named, and her fifth is a yearling colt by STORMY ATLANTIC an own-brother to KINETICA. KINETICA's CAPE CROSS son is her first foal; she now visits SEA THE STARS while her dam remains in Kentucky, visiting leading DANZIG horse EXCHANGE RATE.
ALTA MODA also has a bay colt by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT; he is a half-brother to Tattersalls Millions two-year-old Trophy winner GHURAIR, now in training as a four-year-old in America, and also to an ARCHIPENKO two-year-old colt (in training with James Tate) and a SEA THE STARS yearling filly. Their unraced, but exquisitely-bred dam (SADLER'S WELLS - ALBORADA) stays at Lanwades to visit LEROIDESANIMAUX.
LADY JANE DIGBY has had matings befitting her status as a beautifully-bred Group 1 winner, and her HENRYTHENAVIGATOR filly third foal follows colts by DUBAWI and GALILEO. This year she will visit FRANKEL.
The final two recent arrivals are a colt and a filly by ARCHIPENKO and are both chesnut. The filly is the third foal of the stakes-placed STERLING SOUND, (a daughter of Prix de Diane winner and European Champion middle-distance three-year-old filly LADY IN SILVER) and a full-sister to a colt which brought 57,000 guineas at last year's October yearling sale and is training in Italy. The colt, who also has a full-sibling two-year-old (ALLIANCE FRANCAISE, in training with David Simcock) is a half-brother to three winners out of AFFAIRE D'AMOUR, a multiple winning HERNANDO full-sister to FOREIGN AFFAIRS, winner of seven Listed races in three different countries. STERLING SOUND and AFFAIRE D’AMOUR both stay at Lanwades to visit AUSSIE RULES.

ANOTHER WINNER FOR AUSSIE RULES
Lanwades sire AUSSIE RULES has started 2014 where he left off last year with his crop from 2011. He sired 19 individual two-year-old winners last year with six of them being black-type performers including French Listed winner KONKAN. In 2014 so far he has sired another four winners from his 2011 crop, the most recent being RIU CARAMBOA who won a maiden at Naples in Italy over 1400m (7f) yesterday.

A GUTSY WIN FOR LANWADES-BRED BAYRE
Lanwades-bred three-year-old colt BARYE put up a brave performance to win his first race at Lingfield on Friday. Having put up a good performance over course and distance on his first run three weeks ago to finish fifth, he had definitely gained from that experience and he needed to when getting trapped on the inside entering the straight. However, he found daylight with less than a furlong to run and ran on really well to just take the lead on the line. He is by Lanwades sire ARCHIPENKO and is the second winner this year (ninth in total) for his young sire having his first three-year-old runners this year. He is out of Lanwades-bred OBLIGE who is a dual winner and dual Stakes-placed and she has a full brother yearling to BARYE. BARYE was sold at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sales in 2012 for €57,000 and is now owned by Anthony Hogarth and is in training with David Simcock.

FIRST FOALS MEAN 2014 SEASON WELL UNDERWAY
A handful of foals have arrived at Lanwades already this year. First of them, some way ahead of his peers, is a colt by first-crop sire BATED BREATH out of Chris Mills' boarding mare MIDNIGHT FANTASY, a three-time winning OASIS DREAM half-sister to Group winner MISS ANABAA, and whom was also foaled at Lanwades. He is the third foal, following fillies by ACCLAMATION and EQUIANO, for his dam, who now visits another first-crop sire, LETHAL FORCE.
Another boarder to have foaled already is the British Bloodstock Agency Ltd owned SANTA AGATA. A winning half-sister to dual Group 3 winner COMMON WORLD from the family of Champion Australian sires FLYING SPUR and ENCOSTA DE LAGO, she has an EXCEED AND EXCEL bay filly second foal half-sister to last year's MAKFI colt, and visits RIP VAN WINKLE.
Three members of the ALRUCCABA clan have produced first foals, and all three of them are grey colts. Group-winning SIR PERCY mare ALLA SPERANZA, a fourth-generation Lanwades product, daughter of Stakes winner ALVARITA, granddaughter of World Champion ALBORADA and great great-granddaughter of ALRUCCABA, has a son by Australian Champion sire REDOUTE'S CHOICE. She will now visit another proven DANZIG line horse in INVINCIBLE SPIRIT. ALVARITA's SELKIRK winning own sister ALBARAKA also has a DANZIG line first produce, hers a son of OASIS DREAM. She now visits Lanwades sire LEROIDESANIMAUX. Finally, ALL MY HEART, a Timeform 100 rated four-time winner at three and a granddaughter of Broodmare of the Year ALOUETTE has a colt by ARCHIPENKO, to whom she returns.
A second ARCHIPENKO arrival is a chesnut filly second foal out of MEDAILLE D'OR, who now returns to AUSSIE RULES, sire of her 2013 first foal son, a very good individual. A two-time winner at three, MEDAILLE D’OR is a Lanwades-bred daughter of WITH APPROVAL and Group 2 winning NIJINSKY mare CROCKADORE.
Another of WITH APPROVAL’s Lanwades homebred daughters has foaled already too, NEZHENKA having a bay filly first foal by AUSSIE RULES. A dual winner tracing through her dam Lancashire Oaks place getter NINOTCHKA to SPECIAL, she stays at Lanwades to visit SPECIAL's grandson ARCHIPENKO.
Another of SPECIAL's grandsons, SADLER'S WELLS, features as sire of the final two mares with foals on the ground. EMINENCIA, an unraced daughter of Yorkshire Oaks and Prix Vermeille winner MY EMMA, has a bay colt by SIR PERCY and stays at home to visit AUSSIE RULES; two-time winner KESARA, a daughter of a half-sister to SELKIRK's Italian champion son ALTIERI, also has a bay colt, hers by SEA THE STARS, and she too stays at Lanwades, visiting new arrival LEROIDESANIMAUX.
